On the 29th and 30th of July, Team Tai embarked on a mission to visit Mongola Secondary School in Morogoro. It was a follow-up of our scholarship program, Right To Be a Girl, supported by Mundo Cooperante. Excitement filled the air as we prepared to engage with the students and empower these young minds with valuable knowledge, meaningful conversations that will guide them towards a brighter future.
While at school, we had the opportunity to screen our Kichanga animation on Teenage pregnancies. The students were engaged and interested in learning about such an important topic. It was heartwarming to see them absorb the information and ask thoughtful questions. We encouraged them to always prioritize their education and to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
The experience at Mongola Secondary School was not only educational but also deeply moving. We were reminded of the power of education and the impact it can have on young lives. Many of the students had to walk up to 15 kilometers to school and back every day, just to receive an education .Their determination and resilience in the face of such challenges left us in awe.Through our scholarship program and awareness campaigns, we hope to continue empowering young girls to reach their full potential and make informed choices for a brighter future.
As we left the school, we were filled with a sense of hope and inspiration. The resilience and determination of the students at Mongola Secondary School served as a reminder that education is a powerful tool for change. We left with a renewed commitment to our cause and a determination to continue making a difference in the lives of young girls everywhere.
Our journey, to Mongola Secondary School was a reminder that every child deserves the right to education and the opportunity to dream big. Through our collective efforts, we can make a positive impact and empower the next generation to create a better world for all.
