Travelling 7,000 kilometers from Germany to Tanzania as an international intern, Alina's journey with Tai has been nothing short of inspiring. With a deep passion to create impact in society, Tai quickly became her second home.

As a way of giving back to the community, Alina actively engaged with beneficiaries in schools both boys and girls educating them about climate change through the Kijani project, and promoting menstrual health and hygiene through Oky Tanzania.

Connecting with youth, hearing their perspectives, and immersing herself in a new culture made her fall even more in love with Tanzania and its people. She is determined to use the skills she has gained to help advance the community even further.

Alina carries countless memories back home close to her heart from her time with Team Tai. From love and laughter to bold ideas, knowledge, and even enhancing her Kiswahili, this experience has been nothing but the best of the best.
