Disability Inclusion
The program works to address stigma and exclusion faced by young people with disabilities and other underserved groups. Too often, young people are sidelined not because of lack of ability, but because of negative perceptions, silence around disability, and low expectations within communities. Through this program, we challenge these barriers and promote a society where every young person is respected, valued, and able to participate fully.
Through the we engage schools, communities, and young people in open conversations about disability and inclusion. The initiative addresses stigma surrounding physical disabilities, autism, deaf communities, blindness, and albinism, helping communities better understand the experiences and potential of people with disabilities.
Using storytelling, youth engagement, and community dialogue, we work to break the silence around disability and shift harmful narratives. Our approach highlights the abilities, talents, and aspirations of young people with disabilities, reinforcing the message that disability does not limit a person’s potential or dreams.
A key component of the program includes school dissemination and animation screenings, where students watch powerful stories and engage in guided discussions about inclusion. These sessions help children develop empathy and understanding from an early age, encouraging them to love, respect, and value people with disabilities as equal members of society.
