Education in Tanzania is facing a growing challenge. Secondary school dropouts increased from 134,295 in 2022 to 147,741 in 2023, a 10.01% rise. But behind these numbers are real children whose dreams are interrupted by poverty, teenage pregnancy, and circumstances beyond their control. Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and imagine a better future. Education is not just about textbooks or exams it is about hope, opportunity, and the freedom to dream beyond one’s circumstances.

Driven by this belief, our Education Scholarship Program at Mongola Secondary School in Morogoro is currently supporting 30 students, both girls and boys, ensuring they remain in school and continue building their futures. With the support of Kipaji Foundation, students receive essentials such as stationery, uniforms, textbooks, and daily meals. Over the years, the program has already supported more than 100 students to access secondary education, with many progressing successfully to advanced levels and some even reaching university with our support a powerful reminder that when barriers are removed, young people can truly thrive.
During our recent visit to Mongola, we saw more than students in a classroom we saw future doctors, teachers, engineers, and leaders. We heard stories of resilience and ambition, and witnessed the power of opportunity when children are given a fair chance. Our vision is clear: a future in Tanzania where school dropouts are the exception, not the norm, where poverty never decides a child’s future, and where every child no matter their background is empowered to learn, grow, and thrive.
